Perfect night away for anyone that loves adventure & absolute peace but be warned someone had broke out a window a couple of nights before while people were staying there. Still a lil piece of perfection. .

Beautiful views! Rustic cabin in a gorgeous setting, enjoyed having the option of both the fire pit or the grill. The Rangers were welcoming and helpful and while the ranger station is in town they even came to check on us after a storm to make sure we hadn't gotten trapped with downed limbs (we were fine). Vault toilet is well maintained. Don't forget to check out the Blue Bend recreation area for hiking and the creek. There's lots of cute shops and cafes in town (Across the Board Game Cafe was a delight)

My goodness; welcome to heaven. A perfect, tidy, welcoming cabin … comfortable beds; a fire circle with a stack of wood directly next to it; and minutes from a spectacular hike and river. HIGHLY recommend.

We loved the cabin. The location and the view are amazing. We loved the seclusion, having an entire mountain top to ourselves.

We had such a fantastic time at Hopkin's Fireman's Cabin! The view was absolutely breathtaking. The camp spot and the resources provided (firewood, toilet paper, parking pad, mini fridge) were so amazing!! The trek to the top would have been a challenge in bad weather, but we had no problems at all. We did not expect the amenities to be so clean, cozy and inviting. We enjoyed our time so much that we plan to make it an annual trip! There was not much hiking from the top of the mountain, but there was a lot of hiking at Blue Bend, which is just at the foot of the Hopkin's Mountain road.
