Been up in the area for years. Usually stay at a friends place nearby and bring the kids over for restrooms and to let them play on the playground. This is the first time staying in the cabin. Its clean and in a good condition. Nice views of the small lake and even saw a few loons. At night there were some ducks that came to the bank and we were able to hear them at dusk. The cabin we were in has a DVD player and an assortment of DVDs and there is Wifi. In the cabin you can easily sleep 6 people. If you like being alone or in a place with a few people then you will truly like this place. Danbury is only a 20 minute drive for any odds and ends you might have forgotten. Moose Junction bar and grill is only 10 minutes and they have really good pizza. Otherwise its about a hour drive to Duluth/Superior.

Great location that is well maintained. I took my 28 ft travel trailer, wife and young kids. The site was clean and had hookups for water and electric 30/50. There is a beautiful garden monument. My kids enjoyed the playground. The bugs were not bad since they spray. Dump station is onsite. The location is very quiet and enjoyable. It is close to Duluth and we took day trips. Scott and Brenda were great and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a September weekend recently and had a really nice time. The grounds and facilities were very clean and you can tell that the organization in charge cares about this property. There was a small playground for kids, a couple bikes of different sizes that were free to use, and there is firewood on site.

It's on a small flowage with a small dam and creek. No water access for boating or swimming though, you'll have to head to a nearby lake if that's the kind of activities you enjoy.

Your rig will get dirty getting there, it's about 4 miles of dusty dirt road once you turn off the highway. And then 4 miles back out but it is worth it for the peace and quite.

Thank you DOVR for for providing such a nice place for us to be able to hang out. The Allen cabin is a peaceful place to get away and shower and feel fresh for our weekend. Beautifully done. Can’t wait to return and see what else you have added to the cabins to continue the beautiful look.
