Luna White Deer Campground offers spacious, clean sites with a serene atmosphere, making it a favorite for families and nature lovers alike. The campground features beautiful hiking trails and a peaceful lake ideal for kayaking and swimming, though it can get crowded during peak times. Some visitors noted limited amenities and challenges finding firewood, but overall, the campground is highly regarded for its natural beauty and the quality of experiences it provides.

We have been coming here for over 20 years and have had a wonderful experience every time. This year the camp host was particularly accommodating and friendly when helping us change the site we had paid for in advance. Can't wait to keep coming back!

Beautiful location on White Deer Lake. Campsite was large, spacious, and private--I couldn't really see the adjacent sites from mine and there was no one camped across the road when I was there. Nice path from the campsite down to the lake with a small, flat, sandy area right at the water's edge. Short walk to drinking water and pit toilets (in opposite directions). I could hear the loons calling every night.

unfortunately had loooots of rain and more mosquitoes.

Love the campground. We go twice every year for 14 days each. Very quiet with large camp sites. The roads in the campground are terrible, they definitely need repaved. Other than that we really enjoy camping at Luna White Deer.

It’s a great little camp ground. We have been there 4 years in a row. Unfortunately, the fishing on Luna has been extremely poor the last two years. Water level is low and virtually no weeds. We don’t know what the problem is. We hope it improves.

Enjoyed the campground. Pit toilets were well-maintained, water sources were easily accessible, and the campsite was good for our tent-camping family. Toilets and water station were both close, though in opposite directions. Showers and/or flush toilets would be a nice addition some day but no complaints. Enjoyed a hike around the lake. Sadly, no fish were biting for us while shore fishing, but would return. Had to drive a ways to get a phone signal.

Nice campground with large level spaces for parking. I was car camping and had plenty of space. Despite being a holiday weekend, the campground was about 80% full and overall quiet. There was some good hiking accessible from the campground. The hikes would be great in the fall when the leaves are changing. Luna Lake was small and did not allow motorized boats. There were several kayakers on the lake. The pit toilets were clean and well supplied. I did find some garbage in my fire pit when I arrived (which I removed and threw away), but other than that the campsite was clean. I would go to this campground again.

Beautiful campground. My family has been coming here for 50+ years. Outhouses were kept clean.
