What Guests Are Saying
Franklin Lake is a beloved campground with spacious, well-maintained sites and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite for many returning campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, scenic hiking trails, and the tranquility of the lake, especially for families and young swimmers. Some concerns include the lack of showers and limited water access, but overall, the positive experiences and friendly hosts contribute to its charm.

I have been going to Franklin Lake for over 50 years and go back at every opportunity. My family loves the campground and lake. We camp in the North whenever possible to experience the outdoors to the maximum opportunity. My only complaint is the folks who come and run their generators all day and sit in their camper watching TV. You can stay home and do that.

Wonderful place, nice campsites. This was our 4th year there and we will continue to come up for as long as we can.

Beautiful lake with a great little beach and sites are very big. Great hikes from the campground and the campground was well maintained. The only reason not to give an excellent rating is lack of showers.

excellent lakefront site. too many generators, need a firm limit on hours used, state campgrounds don't allow them.
