What Guests Are Saying

Morgan Lake Campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting, ideal for those seeking isolation and tranquility, with well-maintained sites bordering a small lake suitable for bass fishing. While there are some drawbacks, such as poor cell service, a rough access road, and occasional mosquitoes, many visitors appreciate the cleanliness and the attentive staff. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quiet getaway, though some suggest considering alternative locations for better overall experiences.

This is more of an isolated campground, being equidistant from Fence (Hwy 101) and Popple River (Hwy 139). We arrived on a Tuesday, and while setting up, were the ONLY people in the campground. Another camper (lone) arrived later, but we were the only groups there the entire week (we left on Saturday). We had one-to-two bars of cell service (T-Mobile). Write-up said only one latrine, however there are actually two. Beach is pretty decent. The lake is smallish (45 or so acres). All of the sites border the lake in one way or the other. If you like quiet, this is the place for you. Well, except for the occasional UTV/ATV which worked thru the campground (they are allowed). In fact, the ONLY major drawback of this place is the fact that no matter which direction you take to get here, you are guaranteed a 6 mile drive on a wash-board gravel road, which kicks up so much dust, that you have to clean literally everything both coming and going. Ergo, my wife has expressed that we not return (guess who mostly cleans). But, isolation and quiet? This is the place.
