We loved this campground. We stayed in site 85, spacious and heavily wooded, with sites very nicely separated. The bathrooms were well-appointed for a forest service CG. Not much close by tho (restaurants, bars etc) if you’re interested in eating out or shopping.

This was our second try camping at Boulder. This time we stayed closer to the camp host site and it was much quieter with more considerate campers and both sets of campground hosts were very nice. The bathrooms were very clean and we enjoyed having little to no cell service and firewood delivery.
rate campervery clean and then

We love going to Boulder Lake and visit at least twice a summer. This time we had a terrible storm and it knocked out the power for two full days. We had paid for electricity and would like a refund of our $20.00. We know it's not the parks fault. They were super fast at cutting down the many fallen trees and checking on campers.

Beautiful place with both reservable and first come first serve campsites. The beach is nice and if you have pets you can use the area between the beach and boat landing for wading in the water. Facilities are clean.

Site 50 was an excellent site with paved driveway, electric, and good spacing between sites. The bathroom was not clean. One toilet was unusable the entire three days we stayed there. The trail system from the sawmill had several trees down that have been there for quite some time. The swimming beach was excellent and the Wolf River CCC camp interpretive trail was very interesting; however, the driveway getting to the trail was narrow with brush and blackberry bushes rubbing the side of the truck. Overall it was a very good camping experience that could have been excellent with some effort. A final thought, the $10 electric fee is extremely high.

Gorgeous. We were in group camp and we wanted peace and quiet; other campers wanted drinking games and loud music; oh well. Fantastic hostess, clean outhouses

DO NOT COME HERE. I never write reviews but this campground is dangerous and the camp host NOR forest service do anything about it. People party all night, drinking and doing drugs and no one seems to care. We were camping with our young children and have never felt so scared about being able to protect them. A group of about 20 people were across from us, taking over 2 campsites. Plain enough to see there were more people and tents there than should have been, but no one did anything. These people were driving around the campsite and doing burnouts at 3am while drunk and high, lighting off fireworks and airhorns at all hours and trying to go into other people's tents. When multiple reported it to the camp host and forest service in the morning, they were given warnings to keep it down BUT not kicked out. We were told to call the sheriff if they did it again BUT THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE AT THE CAMPSITES. It's unsafe and clearly don't care that peoples lives are in danger. We could hear other groups screaming and yelling at all hours too, so it must be known that there are no reprecussions for bad and dangerous behavior. Just don't bother. Plenty of beautiful places without putting your life at risk.
