Great campground with large sites both on and off the water. Beach is wonderful and lake is quiet - no wake. Nice walk from beach to boat landing either by lakeside trail or road. Carter Casino is only 12 min away for fun or if water and dump station services needed. Have visited twice now!

This is my 30th year of camping at Ada lake. Thru the years i have seen less care and upkeep to this campground. There was a birthday party held on the beach, the day I arrived. Extra cars and trucks in my site and on both sides of the road. Needless to say, they used the beach and site #4, but never stayed over, nor did they clean up the beach area. It seems more weeds have crept into the sand. Years ago the Forest service would rake the beach each weekend. They also used to put out toilet paper. This year we had to carry our own or go and get rolls from the other bathrooms. I have considered being a camp host for a month, how do we apply, costs, and is this something the forest service wants or needs? This place is a hidden gem, kayaking the lake , listening to the loons, very peaceful! please keep it that way.

This campground was beautiful. The sites were large and spread apart nicely, with lovely tree cover. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked with toilet paper, and the beach was clean and well maintained. This was an excellent spot for a weekend getaway with the family’s we will definitely be back!

I found the whole reservation system to be quite confusing. We did manage to get it straightened out with a Ranger’s help. Ada lake Iis one of my favorite places to camp.

Policies & Rules
General
- Use is restricted to hardened campsite area.
- Generator use is limited to the hours of and only while users are present at the campsite. Unreasonably loud generators which may bother others cannot be used at any time.
- Privately owned ATV's, UTV's, and Golf Carts are not allowed to be operated within the campground.
- Single occupancy sites are allowed up to 8 persons and one wheeled camping unit, e.g. camper or RV, as well as three additional vehicles or trailers, so long as they are not wheeled camping units.
- Firewood must be purchased or collected from no greater than 25 miles of a National Forest destination or collected directly from National Forest land. Firewood from any distance that has been certified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is allowed.
- There are no electric hook-ups at this facility.
- Lake is restricted to boat speed of no greater than "Slow-No-Wake".
