Highly recommended camp ground!
Super friendly hosts, Don and Theresa, make sure to keep the smiles busy and laughter familiar.
If you're looking to get away and stay in a comfortable place in the woods, where you and your family can do more than just sit around the campfire and tell scary stories while roasting marshmallows... you may have just found your sanctuary!
Fully furnished cabins are plentiful. And if you're looking for something a little different, stay in one of their Yurts.
Looking for something even more exotic?
Spend your nights in a covered wagon!
The fun never ends at Smokey hollow,
There's a giant shopping cart that pulls a train of barrel carts around the campground, foam canons to make the kids squeal and squirm with delight.. as well as a firepit at each and every site.
Bring your marshmallows and tell the kids you're going to Smokey hallow this weekend.

Rentals are cheap and all inclusive! No surprises when it comes time to check out! Your rental fee covers everything but the drinks.

We had such a wonderful experience here! We made reservations for Sunday - Tuesday and loved it so much, we booked for an extra day! The VIP sites are perfect! So roomy for our 36' Class A motorhome. Huge concrete pads with additional pavers for the campfire. Custom firepits. Tables with umbrellas. The whole campground is very large with beautiful park models and seasonal sites. So many fun things to do with your kids or just family and friends. We've gone camping to alot of nice places but this one was my favorite! Im not a huge fan of the town Lodi but the campground is totally worth staying! The affordable price of the sites are absolutely worth it. I can't wait to come back next year to go in the swimming pond, mini golf, volleyball, jumping pillow and more with my kids. The best part was all the roads or trails are black top so we rode our electric scooters all over the campgrounds. If I could give the place 10 stars I would.

We stayed in a beach cabin. Cute little cabin, exactly as we expected it to be. Perfect location for our 2 young kids to wake up in the morning amd throw on a swimsuit and go right into the water while we sit and enjoy the morning watching them right from our front porch. We stayed Sun night through Tuesday night, and prices were reasonable. Weekends are always more pricey no matter where you go. Only things we really didn't like were that the store didn't open till 9am and since we didn't bring our own coffee, we had to wait until they opened to get some. There was also no parking at our cabin, so we had to carry all of our stuff for our 3 night stay for all 4 of us across the sand beach for quite a ways. We will definitely choose a cabin closer to the parking spots next time. And there were some sort of fragrance things attached to 2 walls in the cabin that blink a very bright green light all night long. Outside of those things, which are fairly minor and can mostly be avoided in the future, we had a great time.

Sadly this will not be your greatest review. Arriving to a campsite after check in time only to find littered with McDonald's food containers, so much chalk on the picnic table, candy all over the ground. We called the office, they sent someone to clean it. Friday night, depends on which rule page you choose, quiet time is either 10 or 11. Either way, neighbors partied way past midnight, their dog barked past 2am. Saturday night our golf cart got hit by a red SUV, I reported it, and no staff could find the vehicle I described. No surprise there.
I will say, the kids running the store are very helpful and fast. We ordered food both Friday night and Sunday lunch, both meals were tasty and hot! Pond is nice. We liked the grocery cart, hay ride, and golf cart parade.
Pretty sure we won't be back or recommend it to our friends. Although a couple of your seasonal campers are great people, they can't make up for the rest of the campgrounds.

I'm normally not one to leave a review and I always give a place the benefit of the doubt but I was very disappointed with our stay at Smokey Hollow. We have camped at many campgrounds and this place came highly rated to us. Unfortunately we are unable to rate it highly. First of all, the safety of any and all guests should be of utmost importance. But it did not seem as if it was unless a complaint was filed. There were young kids racing around on golf carts, groups of kids playing tag with golf carts and speeding up and down and around corners. We witnessed multiple small children almost get hit by a golf cart, as well as many kids turning corners and almost tipping the golf cart. There was no safety or enforcement of rules with these kids by parents or campground staff.

The dump station, while yes, a dump station, seemed rather unsanitary. It did not seem as if it is well maintained. And for a campground of that size, while mostly seasonal, should have more than one for overnight guests. It also congests traffic right at the main gate. We witnessed our friends camper almost get hit by an impatient driver.

While we did not swim, the pictures make the pond look much larger than it was. Many of the amenities seemed rather run down. It was disappointing that there were so many extra charges for activities on a themed weekend given the amount we paid for the site for the weekend.

We did not mind our site. It was a decent size site and the fire pits are great. Water pressure was good. No issues there. The kids loved the jumping pillow and all the staff we encountered were friendly.

Overall a 2 out of 5.
