Guests appreciate the clean bathrooms and helpful staff, with some positive experiences related to the sense of community among seasonal residents. We wanted to take the kids camping but still wanted to have some activities and kayaking. While we knew this was an RV park, it did have campsites. What we didnt know was that sites were wide open. "Game room" was super dusty, majority of the games weren't turned on, or broken. This area looked like it had not been touched in years. No pool table, all the dart tips were broken off, and the change machine was broken. Basketball court had hoops that were bent and lop sided. The doc in back was barely hanging on as well, broken boards with plywood patch jobs. We left after one night and unfortunately cannot get a refund. Only good things about this site was the clean bathrooms and the man who checked us in who helped bring fire wood. I do not recommend going here.

We just returned from an absolutely wonderful and relaxing weekend at this campground, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the pristine condition of the grounds—everything was spotlessly clean, from the campsites to the restrooms and communal areas. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities exceeded our expectations, with well-maintained amenities, ample space for camping, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The surrounding natural beauty added to the experience, offering scenic views and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a first-timer, this campground delivers an exceptional experience that’s hard to beat. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed here last week. At first, I just wanted to find another campground. We pull a 30 ft travel trailer and didn't think we could back in to our site. The roads are narrow and twisty. I have extensive trailer backing experience btw. We got it in the site. 34A, which is also a kind of odd site. What changed my mind was, 1. The friendliness of the locals. Awesome people. 2. We loved how close we were to many activities and just loved exploring. I would stay here again. Was kind of weird that no one was here to check in with though. It was their pig roast weekend, and we would have kind of expected contact with management. One of the seasonal guys told us the male half of ownership was in the hospital. Totally understandable, but better communication would be awesome. Side note. The bathrooms/shower are awesome as everyone else stated.

We stayed for six days on a site right by the road, the staff was very helpful pulling in and dropping wood. Most of the sites are occupied by residents, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The highlight was being able to be picked up across the street at the dock by friends. Do not count on the on-site facility, which appears nothing like the photos on the website. the dock across the street is convenient.
The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. A friend with a Class C RV was able to get a last-minute spot for a few nights, which was great. This location is super close to many fantastic attractions, including The Clown Museum, the Al Ringling Mansion in Baraboo, the Dells, Land of Natura Inflatable Park and Ishnala. There are plenty of great dining options nearby—just a heads up to skip the Thirsty Moose across the street, as they tend to prioritize regulars.

First the good: the location is great, right on the lakeshore and within walking distance of the thirtsy moose which was great! They also allowed us to check in early which was super nice.

Now the not so good: we were next to a giant group of people (probably 20+ with at least 6 tents) who blocked our campsite driveway, walked through our campsite, smoked weed, and play rap music so loud we couldn’t hear our own music. We contacted the number on our reservation email and talked to Blake. I explained to Blake that the people next to us blocked our driveway, and multiple other campsites’ driveways, and would appreciate if someone could talk to them. Yes, I probably could have done that but that seems like the camp hosts job to go around and make sure guests are in compliance. Additionally, it was just me (late 20s female) and my mom (mid 50s female) camping and this group was mostly men, so that definitely influenced my decision to call campground staff first. Anyways, Blake then immediately asked if I have Eddie (the camp host’s), number which I did not because it wasn’t in the email. Blake said he would contact Eddie. Eddie eventually came by and told us the people next to us had been coming for 6+ years and paid for all of their tents (I didn’t bring up the number of tents because that didn’t matter to me, + I was also paying for my site that they were using…). Eddie then told us they’d leave soon because some of their group was just visiting. Eddie also said they were walking through our campsite just because they don’t understand camping etiquette. Eddie also told us the people next to us (not the previously mentioned group) were only booked for one night which was making the campground lose money. In the end, the vehicles didn’t leave and continued to block our site by the time we went to bed at 11 pm. This group kind of ruined the experience here and everything could’ve been addressed by the camp host but it was not. Won’t be coming back unfortunately.
