This is a large electric site with a short path to the lakeshore. The restroom is nearby. Showers cost $1. A vending machine takes coins or bills and delivers shower tokens. Shower was nice and hot. Water faucet is near rest rooms.
Thete is a small beach, but when we were there, the water was muddy and full of algae, so we didn't swim. There are also a lot of Chinese mystery snails, so we washed out kayaks before using them anywhere else.
We enjoyed several hiking trails nearby, especially the Ice Age Trail. We drove to Mondeau Dam one day, and we went to Gilman, where we found basic groceries and good sandwiches at the diner.
Just a couple of miles from the campground, there's a bar that sells ice and has decent food.
All in all, this was a great place to spend a few laid back days.

ADA/wheelchair-accessible restrooms and showers would be a great asset to this campground. Otherwise, it was a good place to spend a night. Some sites vary greatly by size - read the descriptions before booking.

Been quite a few years since I've been to this campground. Everything was as expected. Only thing is I wish they sold firewood on site.
