We enjoyed our camping at Spearhead campground. We hiked the trails, fished the flowage, and enjoyed nature. Its one of our favorite places to go to.

We love Spearhead Point and have done our annual Family Camping outing there for several years. Small, generally quiet campground. Not for those who must have hookups, flush toilets and showers. As we are tent campers who treasure what Spearhead Point offers, it is perfect for us . We do miss the Mondeaux Lodge, down the lake from the campground.

From Medford, travel north on State Highway 13 for 4 mi, then turn left (west) onto County Road M and continue for 7 mi. Turn right (north) onto County Highway E and continue about 8 mi, then turn right (east) onto Forest Service Road 1563 and con...
From Medford, travel north on State Highway 13 for 4 mi, then turn left (west) onto County Road M and continue for 7 mi. Turn right (north) onto County Highway E and continue about 8 mi, then turn right (east) onto Forest Service Road 1563 and continue for about 1 mi. Turn right (east) onto Forest Service Road 106 and look for the campground entrance sign at the top of the hill.
Highway access
Spearhead Point is accessible from State Highway 13, which is approximately 4 miles south of the campground.

- Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood.
