What Guests Are Saying
Spearhead Point is a beloved campground known for its beautiful natural setting, spacious sites, and opportunities for kayaking and fishing directly from campsites. While the campground lacks hookups and flush toilets, it is well-maintained and offers a quiet atmosphere for nature enthusiasts. Some visitors noted issues with noise and staff availability, but overall, the positive experiences of enjoying the outdoors and the friendly environment overshadowed the negatives.

Great place! Please don’t bring noisy generators here.
Trail around the perimeter of peninsula is fun to explore - as well as the pine island (peninsula) attached. VERY quiet on Thursday, noisy on Friday.
No swimmable area. Can bring kayaks as most sites have a personal dock!!

Great time on Ice Age Trail. Wonderful water from the spring. Large sites with reasonable privacy compared to state parks in WI.

We have enjoyed many years of camping at spearhead. Birding is espially good on the flowage. We look for the eagles nest each year.

Beautiful campground. The small docks at the premium sites are very convenient for canoes/kayaks. Very clean vault toilets.

The location was a little hard to find but otherwise very nice once we got there! Loved being right on the water!

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Spearhead, will be putting that on our visit again list. It would be nice to have Electric hookups but not a priority. Good Time*****

Awesome location. Site was absolutely phenomenal. Lake side with private dock. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.
