What Guests Are Saying
Twin Lakes is a beautiful and peaceful campground with spacious, clean sites and well-maintained facilities, making it a hidden gem for visitors. The campground hosts, particularly Michael and James, received high praise for their welcoming and helpful nature. While some sites lack direct water access for boating, the overall experience, including stunning sunsets and proximity to Minocqua, makes it a highly recommended destination for a restful getaway.

peace and quiet, beautiful spot - just wish it was easier to get some firewood in the area for the evening fire.

Our campground host, Michael, was very welcoming and informative. He provided hiking maps and was knowledgeable with recommendations. The sites were spacious and clean. The pit toilets were kept clean. The only disappointment was that only a few sites had access to the water, preventing us from leaving a boat in the water during our stay. Twin Lakes is a beautiful, quiet little gem.

Michael, the camp host, did an amazing job at making us feel welcome and provided spot on information about the area and attractions. The facilities were clean and the location was quite peaceful. If only the NFS was better funded under the current administration, this campsite and the Chequamegon could earn full marks.
