We had reserved site 11, but couldn’t bring our canoes down to the lake from there so moved to site 13. We ended up just driving down to the boat landing since the access from 13 was still not great. The view was still nice, even if you had to look at the aerator in the middle of the lake. We went swimming a couple times which was great for cooling off. The mosquitoes were hungry but not terrible if you had bug spray! Bathrooms were kept nice. I enjoyed a very short hike on the boardwalk to the tiny lake to the north!

Gorgeous drive in, large but private sites (many right on the lake), very friendly host. Everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing time in the woods.

Beautiful, quiet lake with easy access from the boat ramp or several of the campsites. Nice to have a camp host. Campground is clean and well managed. Great place.

Our campground host, Michael, was very welcoming and informative. He provided hiking maps and was knowledgeable with recommendations. The sites were spacious and clean. The pit toilets were kept clean. The only disappointment was that only a few sites had access to the water, preventing us from leaving a boat in the water during our stay. Twin Lakes is a beautiful, quiet little gem.

From Park Falls, travel east on State Highway 182 for about 13 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 144, and after approximately five miles turn left on Forest Road 142. Continue for two miles to the campground entrance.
The campground is accessible via State Highway 182, which connects to Park Falls, approximately 13 miles to the west.
Elevation: 485 feet

General
- Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. Please help protect our forests from invasive species by obtaining your firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Visit dontmovefirewood.org for more information.
- Twin Lakes Campground is located on the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, between the towns of Park Falls and Lac du Flambeau in Price County. This is not East Twin Campground which is located on the Great Divide Ranger District, near the town of Clam Lake.
