What Guests Are Saying
Twin Lakes offers a beautiful and peaceful campground with large, private sites, many located right on the lake. Campground hosts are friendly and provide helpful information, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While access to water from some sites may be limited and firewood can be hard to find, the overall cleanliness and tranquility make it a hidden gem worth visiting.

Camp host, James Shoemaker, was exemplary! He was helpful, kind, and very friendly. The outhouses were always clean and well stocked. The whole campground was kept neat. I had battery trouble with my truck, and he was quickly there with his tools to help. He then kindly offered his jeep for me to drive to town to get another battery. He was outstanding as a camp host.

The campground was easy to find, and the campsite was nice and roomy, as expected. The restrooms were clean. The little lake was scenic, although we didn't get a chance to use it. There is not a swimming beach at this campground. The neighbors had a bright light on their food table that was shining into our site, prompting this reminder to campers to please be aware of where your lights are shining, especially after 10 p.m. It was a lovely campsite, as are most in the National Forest. We enjoyed our stay.
