What Guests Are Saying
Ridgewood On The River offers a vibrant atmosphere with a modern mini tavern, delicious food from Big Reds, and a lively outdoor vibe suitable for gatherings. However, guests seeking tranquility may be disappointed due to loud music from the Lakeside Beach Club on weekends, which can disrupt the experience. Additionally, some concerns were raised about customer service and campground policies regarding the age of trailers.

If you enjoy quiet nights around the campfire, or hear the sounds of nature, this is not the place for you. Thursday through Sunday in 2025, days AND evenings they blast unbelievable loud outdoor music at the Lakeside Beach Club. Some days we couldn’t even go outside or hear anything on our own TV. This happens in the upper ridge campsites. Also, don’t expect to have nice outdoor furniture, etc. The sprinkler systems turn on every single night and get everything wet, every day! We did not renew our seasonal site! FYI…..if you do sign a contract to stay there in 2026, you have to agree not to complain about the loud music!!

Had our work party there. Was really nice. Great food and area to sit watch the game inside or outside. If you haven't had Big Reds food I highly recommend stopping and trying it was delicious!!

Definitely some pretty shady people own this campground. They took somebody's money broke a contract. definitely not for good reason. I witnessed how much work the people put into their campsite also. Shame on this place.

Called 3 times. Sent one email. Finally got a call back. All she cared about was how old our trailer is. Apparently too old. Doesn't matter that it's in pristine condition and always stored inside. Was told to buy a new trailer and good luck with your search for a place that accepts old trailers. We weren't looking for a status symbol campground anyway, just a fun safe place for our kids and a place where we could use our pontoon. Buyer beware.
