What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

Except for the train traffic, which didn't bother us, a quiet, peaceful campground. Nearby small town Potosi, WI, is worth a visit. Great view of the Mississippi river from the campground. Person manning the check-in was a little gruff but maybe it has been a long summer.

Campsites are great, clean facilities, and the staff is excellent. River right by the campsites, trains on the other side, fellow campers friendly.

Great park and nice location on the river, but the train noise is a real drawback as they run day and night and lay on the horn when passing the park, you kinda get used to it but other then that the park is vey nice and well kept.

The campground was very nice. The only problem is it is right next to double train tracks and there are trains coming through every 30 to 60 minutes every hour day and all night long so if you are not used to hearing trains blow their horn in the middle of the night, this is not a very good campground to stay at

Itβs not too far from Galena Dubuque, or attractions in Wisconsin. The only drawback is all the train traffic.

Nice facility but a bit pricey considering the relative lack of amenities.
