What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

We were there a short time, but it was nice and the staff were very polite. Would definitely go back if in the area.

The power at our site was erratic. We have used this site two years in a row and the power was erratic then. I have a power management system on our coach and it indicated power problems. The front gate agent moved us to a different site.
The COE (manager?) drove by and I told him about the site (and the site next to it) having power problems. He immediately got defensive and argumentative.
He questioned my knowledge about such things and asked if I was an electrician. I was talking to him through his window on his vehicle. He got mad and pulled away with me still in the window. I could have been injured.
I am a retired computer science engineer with graduate degrees. I did not flaunt this to him.
He needs to get training on communication skills, customer support training, and anger management.
This is verified by the agents at the gate, and an agent in the vehicle with the Manager.
