I found this place while looking for a campground near my fishing spots and Madison. I just needed a place to park my car, sleep, and have a campfire. I had good enough cell service to stream videos and the showers were a godsend. Their website is surprisingly good for a small campground, and the host was really responsive and informative. Would definitely stay again!

We weren't very impressed with this campground. We booked here because it made a list of top-rated campgrounds in WI. I will say it wasn't a bad campground, just not what my family was looking for. This is the perfect campground if you're a retired couple, looking for peace and quiet. If you have a family, this is not a good place to go. When we arrived, our fire pit was filled with garbage :( We booked two months ahead. There's no reason why the site wasn't checked before our arrival, so that was disappointing. We did have plenty of shade and grassy area to hang with the family and play yard games. It was a very quiet campground. There were maybe 4 other occupied sites. Many of the sites are designed for two campers to face each other--we didn't know that until we arrived. We were horrified that our neighbor's seasonal was facing our camper. I'm glad they didn't come the weekend we were there. It would have been extremely awkward. The owners were very flexible with us; when I booked, I needed to switch the weekend to a later date, which they kindly accommodated. Bundles of firewood were available for sale for $5. In the nearby area, Richland Center has a neat purple heart city, a dog park, and a small city water park. About a 20 minute drive will take you to Eagle Cave, owned and operated by a local family. Also nearby is Pier County Park, where you can hike and check out a cool rock bridge. This campground is also located in an ATV/UTV-friendly area.

The Campground was quite nice. Great staff who showed me around the sites to choose. Clean bathroom/shower. Also was quiet. The mascot family of ducks were fun to watch as they wandered about.

Great little camp ground. Very friendly staff. Checking was beyond simple. I called late afternoon needing a tent site and the lady held my spot just on my name. No upfront payment. Told her where I was coming from and she was waiting on us to arrive Nothing fancy just a nice place. Would definitely go back

This was the most peaceful campground we have ever stayed at. There is no wifi, no pool, no store, no bar, no themed activities. There is peace & quiet. It was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. The owner is very kind & helpful.
