We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming campground in Door County, just a short 7-minute drive from Sister Bay. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with spotless showers and bathrooms that made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the amazing get-together room, complete with a TV and a cozy drink bar—perfect for relaxing evenings with family and friends.

The small shop offering essentials for the fireplace and grilling added a nice touch, making it easy to enjoy those classic outdoor moments. Above all, the owners are truly fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring every guest feels right at home.

Huge thank you for creating such lovely memories! We can't wait to return to this special spot in Door County. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a friendly, well-equipped, and peaceful place to stay.

We rented one of the brand-new cabins and it was a perfect location for us! The check-in was super simple and the folks at the front desk were very nice. It’s a short drive away from town and the beaches so it was easy to get away but super close for sightseeing. We loved that we had a little kitchenette w/ dining table, fridge/freezer, and sink. There was small Keurig, couch and coffee table, and a smart TV connected to the internet. The AC was strong and the water in the shower was hot if it was the only hot water running- we learned not to run the bathroom sink at the same time. The king-sized bed, sheets, and pillows were super comfy and the whole cabin was clean. We know the cabins are new but we’d love to see them add hooks for towels in the bathrooms and maybe a way to have a dresser or shelves somewhere to store clothes. We’d definitely love to come back and maybe try the campgrounds! All in all a good time!

My fiance and I came to door county and decided to camp here over the weekend. When we arrived we were confused how to get to our campsite so we looked around for a worker & a bartender was available only. He gave us a map and pointed where our campsite would be. I asked if we can drive up to it given our campsite was very far on the map & he told me no, we have to leave our car at the parking lot and you have to hike to the campsite… we had brought a bunch of stuff to comfortable enjoy our camping weekend including an air mattress that had to be plugged into the car to blow up. When I asked again, if there’s no way we can drive our car up to the site since we have all this stuff with us including an air mattress we need power for, he said nope you have to hike, good luck. Very rude. He told us there are wagons to take our stuff… when I looked at the wagon I actually laughed. The wagon was small enough to literally hold a child in there. So we’re suppose to lug camping chairs, sleeping bags, our bags etc. Ina tiny wagon on a hike through a forest that ended up being atleast 5 min away from the car?? Listen, I’m all for hiking and love secluded campsites as I’m a very outdoorsy person, but NONE of this was specified beforehand. The biggest thing that frustrated me was the fact that if I know ahead of time we could not drive up our car close to our campsite, I wouldn’t prepared for different sleeping arrangements & not brought an air mattress that requires my car to blow up. Since we arrive pretty late we had absolutely no way of even driving to a store to purchase a sleeping mat or anything else since the nearest Walmart was 45 min away & at this point we just drove 6 hours to get there. We ended up having to sleep on the ground of our tent, which obviously was incredible uncomfortable. We also saw on the map before we purchased this campsite we were close to a bathroom.. which ended up being two porta potties. once again, not specified at all on the website that these aren’t actual bathrooms. The over campsite was secluded and pretty, but not maintained at all: there were smaller tree trunks that were not fully cut sticking out of the ground everywhere. Meaning this is what we slept on & what was digging into our backs. There were a ton of ant hills, which we had to lay our tent on & last but not least they provide no little table or anything. So don’t forget to lug that in the tiny wagon as well when you come to this campsite. If I would’ve known I was signing up for backcountry camping I would’ve probably done that else where & not in door county. Terrible experience.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Door County. The location is perfect for jumping around between Sister Bay, Fish Creek, and Baileys Harbor. The sites were level and the hookups were great. Everything was very clean. We did not see many staff but the bartender that was working on Saturday evening was very helpful. The camp store had lots of options and even some local specialties. This resort does not have many extra amenities and kids activities yet but I’m sure they will add more in the future. It would also be nice to have some patio sites and paved roads to cut down on the gravel dust. We hope to visit again in the future.
