Beautiful campsites, with plenty of privacy and trees. And even though it’s a rustic, the restrooms were clean and convenient. Water was absolutely pristine— crystal clear to the bottom, and fishing was good!

We’ve been camping at this campground for over 40 years. Seems in the past 2 summers it isn’t as kept up. The hand sanitizer units have been taken off the outhouses, sites have had lots of small garbage around them and the fire pits used to be cleaned out. Also, the managers/hosts used to be out and about more often just checking the place out. What happened?

Sites are spaced out very nicely. They are well maintained. This was our 1st time back in many years. We'll be back next season.

Beautiful location, but this place needs some investment/maintenance done after years of neglect. The road through the campground needs to be repaved. Also, they need to repair the water pumps. A couple have not worked for years, and some of the working pumps operate with low water output.

Although it was not a site only for tent camping, it was very difficult staking in my tent due to the whole surface being gravel. If you are tent camping be sure you get a site specifically for tent camping.

Great campsite! Most campsites have access to the water, so you can easily walk down to enjoy the lake. We brought our chocolate Lab, and she LOVEEEDD jumping into the lake.
They have two beaches. The one on Bass Lake wasn’t the cleanest, but the one that you had to hike to, Owen Lake, was gorgeous and had beautiful views. Dogs weren’t allowed at Owen Lake, but it was very clean and worth the little hike.
When we were there, they didn’t have firewood available for purchase. Finding our campsite was very easy, with clear labels around the site! They also had vault toilets with toilet paper on site, which was very nice.
The campsite itself is pretty large, and we really enjoyed it. They also had a couple of sites for waste and recycling.
