Great site on Bass Lake if you want to kayak, swim, etc. Clear, lovely lake. Vault toilet nearby was the cleanest I've encountered. Very private location. Not much for hiking other than some out and backs on the Northland Trail and a short loop around the lake.

The campground is beautiful and quiet. We had great weather so lack of power was not an issue.

My family has been going to Two Lakes for over 70 years. The change to about 80% reservable sites creates abuse. This is one of the top complaints in the WI State park group. People reserve sites and don’t occupy them. During my stay at least 80% of the sites reserved had nothing in them or had a tent, chairs, or a screen house and no occupants for the reserved timeframe. Site 82 - people set up a tent, two chairs, and left a cooler on Sunday, June 22. I left Saturday, June 28th - they never occupied the site.

We have been coming to Two Lakes for 12 years. Always in good shape and clean bathrooms. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. I know there is a staff shortage but all is well

The campground although full was so quiet. We had a site on the lake. It was a little steep getting down there, but that was not a problem for any of us. The lake itself is so beautiful. Clean, clear and warm enough to swim and play. We had a large group and a few spots. Everyone fell in love with the Two lakes and we cannot wait to return and explore more. The little “gas” station in Drummond has EVERYTHING a person could need. It was a great family trip. Are only disappointments was that the kids had cell service. We were hoping they could unplug for week, but all phones worked perfectly. That could be a plus for some but we wanted a detox from our devices. (The adults did detox the phones)

Absolutely the best campsite I have ever experienced!! The camp host “Sparky” was very helpful and kept the large campground pit toilets fresh and clean.

From Drummond follow Forest Road 213 southeast to the intersection of
Forest Road 213 and 216. Veer left (east) and continue on Forest Road 213
for 2 miles. Veer right (south) onto Forest Road 214 and travel 0.5 mile
to the campground.

General
- First-come, first-served sites may be available
- Aquatic Invasive Species decontamination is required by Bayfield County ordinance when you land your boat at the Two Lakes Campground or North Outlet landing on Lake Owen. The campground has a sanitizing station with a mild bleach solution to kill AIS and the North Outlet Landing has a hot water washing system. Either may be used prior to entering the lake.
- Maximum vehicle size is 50 feet Maximum of 8 people and 4 vehicles at each camp site. Vehicle capacity limit includes vehicles, wheeled camping units and trailers.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. Please help protect our forests from invasive species by obtaining your firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Visit dontmovefirewood.org for more information.
