Reunion flats campground is beautiful. We were in group site 1 and single site 3 for 6 days. There is ample shade for tent campers in the trees and a gorgeous stream running right through the campground. The single site has good shade for a trailer, but the group site is lacking shade for trailers. The bathrooms are clean.
The camp hosts were a married couple, and the wife was wonderful. She made sure to visit with us each day and introduced herself to the kids and dogs. She was lovely. The husband, on the other hand, was not pleasant at all. He yelled at my niece and her husband when they pulled into an empty campsite for a brief moment so they could load their car with their tent when they left. He wouldn’t let them explain what they were doing— he just berated them until my niece was practically in tears.
There was another camp host— the boss— who wasn’t on-site every day. He showed up one day to mow some grass around the site. He was even worse. He drove his mower right up into our campsite while we were eating breakfast, blowing dust all over our food. The dogs had ignored him up until this point, but they approached him when he pulled into “our space”, excited to make a new friend. He yelled at us and said that the dogs had to be leashed at all times. He didn’t even give any kind of warning— just went straight into aggressive yelling. Nowhere on the site does it say dogs must be leashed— just that pets are welcome. None of our dogs are aggressive and we’d had no problems until this time. He was later seen yelling and berating the wife on-site camp host, and she was in tears. His behavior definitely put a damper on the rest of our trip. He was rude to us and his employees and I personally feel like he shouldn’t be in a position that requires interaction with the public.
Other than the horrible men camp hosts, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful area and we saw lots of wildlife.

Reunion Flat is a beautiful campsite. Our extended family was there for a family reunion. There were plenty of places for kids of all ages to explore - trails, the creek that ran through the campsite, log bridges to cross, etc.
We stayed for 6 days/5 nights at group site A. Before we left, we made plans to return in a few years. We felt there was more to explore and the camp site is one of the loveliest we’ve seen.
Laurie and her husband were fantastic hosts. Everyone at our family reunion commented on how clean the bathrooms - pit toilets - were. There was always plenty of hand sanitizer and toilet paper. She and her husband cleaned the bathrooms 2x/day.
She would check in on us and make sure we had what we needed. She even offered some tips for places to explore and fish.
We can’t wait to return!
Notes: no cell service - something we didn’t mind because we wanted to be unplugged. If an emergency did occur, it was an easy 10 minute drive to make a call.
The road into camp isn’t bad, just be cautious.
There’s a well-stocked grocery store 20 minutes away - perfect for last minute needs.
There’s also an instacare nearby - one of the kids needed a visit.

The gravel road to the campground needs to be bladed/maintained as there were numerous very significant potholes that were very difficult if not dangerous particularly to a trailer being towed to the campground.

Very nice camp hosts. Came by to see if we needed anything. Road in to the campground was ATROCIOUS!!! Bare bones campground, but we didn’t expect more based on the description. Would not recommend it based on the road in.
