What Guests Are Saying

South Fork campground offers spacious sites with stunning views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a top choice for campers. Guests appreciate the attentive and friendly camp host, Debbie, who maintains the bathrooms impeccably. The nearby trails and creek add to the campground's charm, although some sites are close together, and there are occasional concerns about fire pit maintenance.

Exceptional camp ground! Very spacious sites with views all around. Large camp area with nice picnic tables, fire pits, and even a metal table for portable grills. The site was level with plenty of room for our 22' trailer and truck. The walk in campsites are the best we have ever seen!

This was our first trip to the Bighorns and South Fork did not disappoint! Close enough to Buffalo in the event we needed something, but felt like we were secluded from the world. Debbie, the grounds manager, and her furry partner, Jigs, were wonderful help and guides. She also kept the vault restrooms impeccable! The tent sites were wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised that the creek running through the campgrounds eliminated all sounds from other campers. The trails nearby were beautiful and did not disappoint. Overall, a great location that I would return to again and again.

Great host, clean outhouses nearby, quiet. It was perfect. Very sought after sites. Only issue is the looks-loos driving through to access the hiking during the weekends.

Great location! Close to Tie Hack and nice river that flows through camp. Lovely camp host and tranquility at this one, close to Buffalo too incase something was forgotten.

Such a great campsite, pretty quiet even on the holiday weekend. The walk to is a nice site, there is a trail right from there along the creek ~ it is nice to walk along.

Hands down one of the prettiest most delightful camping stays on our trip.Beautiful setting snuggled up against a rock faced steep slope. A beautiful stream running along side the campground.
