What Guests Are Saying

Tie Hack Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The campground features spacious sites, a great location near the Tie Hack Reservoir, and well-maintained vault toilets. However, some guests experienced early morning noise from tree thinning activities and reported occasional issues with road traffic and wildlife management. Overall, the positives of cleanliness, helpful staff, and scenic beauty outweigh the negatives.

Beautiful campground. Well spaced sites and very well taken care of. The location near the lake and fairly close to town make it an excellent place to camp.

Wonderful location and campground. You can occasionally hear trucks braking on the steep hill outside the campground but for the most part it is quite. Very clean campground with level sites we will stay longer next time.

One of our favorite places to dry trailer camp. Stayed for a week. Camp hosts are amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Very well kept. Outhouses are clean. On top of any unattended fires, which we appreciate so we can keep the forest there. Love it.

We camped at Tie Hack spot 2 from Sunday through Thursday. We had a fifth wheel trailer and F350 super crew long bed truck Our fifth wheel is 30' on the floor (another approx 9' for the gooseneck). We also had a drivers side slide out. The spot was long enough and for the most part level. It was a little tricky fitting in between the trees so that both our slide out and our awning could be extended. However, anytime you stay in the mountains you don't want to leave you awning extended because at any moment the winds could pick up and cause damage! The picnic table and firepit were in great condition. We had a quite invertor generator that we ran in the late afternoons till 10 and in the morning after 7 for a bit till we left for the day. There were others with very quite generators. In fact, chainsaws in the neighboring canyons could be overheard the quiet generators in the morning. The vault toilets were exceptionally clean. The camping spots were not too close but some could be.
