About Tie Hack
Tie Hack Campground is located close to Tie Hack Reservoir, just 15 mi west of Buffalo, Wyoming on the east side of scenic Cloud Peak Skyway, near the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area. The Bighorn National Forest offers a wide variety of activities, including hiking, fishing, scenic driving and a number of historic sites. We have been coming to Tie Hack for the past 30 years and always have an enjoyable stay; our favorite place in Wyoming. Campground was in excellent condition; however, had a lot of trees cut in the area surrounding it. Restrooms were clean and Peggy, the campground host was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Will be back next year.

I love this campground. My family has camping here for many years. Even before the reservoir was put in and the campground was down there. Hidden little secret that I hope no one else finds. See mostly Wyoming tags when we pull in there which is all I care to see!!
