What Guests Are Saying

Tie Hack Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The campground features spacious sites, a great location near the Tie Hack Reservoir, and well-maintained vault toilets. However, some guests experienced early morning noise from tree thinning activities and reported occasional issues with road traffic and wildlife management. Overall, the positives of cleanliness, helpful staff, and scenic beauty outweigh the negatives.

We have been to Tie Hack many times over the years. It is always an extremely clean campground (bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen at a campground) and we always enjoy ourselves. Fishing nearby at the reservoir and wonderful walks in the wilderness right from your campsite! We were thrilled to see that Peggy is still the Camp Host. She is the BEST! We had planned on being back there next weekend but a change in schedules is preventing that trip. Hope to see you again next year Peggy!

It was our first time at this Campground and we enjoyed our stay very much. Very well organized and very well kept. This campground is not far off Hwy 16 so that is a plus but also we could hear the trucks going up and down the mountain. Clean restrooms and plenty of fresh water. Chilly time for our tents.

This was our first time staying in Tie Hack. The site (#13) was an excellent spot for our popup and screen room. Very level. Camp host was very nice and welcomed us to the campground. She kept us informed of the cold weather arriving and that the water would need to be shut down for a couple days. (Sept 2020). Bathrooms were equal distance from our site and each site had plenty of distance between. Will definitely come back to stay longer. A lot of sun but great if you have a solar panel.

Peggy the campground host is wonderful. Peggy is very welcoming, friendly, and most importantly provides much information to new campers. Peggy took the time to inform us about campfire, quiet time and general camping rules. She also explained the rules regarding the cut tree rules for firewood and the restrictions about the harvested trees in the campground. A super campground host. Will be back next year to camp. Thank you Peggy! Also the campground is very clean with absolutely zero litter. The toilet facility was equally as clean. Could not have been a better camping experience minus the smoking conditions, no fault of Peggy.
