Old Faithful Rv Park

This place is nearly perfect. Located about 20 miles from Cody and 30 from east entrance to Yellowstone, it is in a great location. Excellent new facilities. When they are finished with all the new bathrooms, showers and laundry, it will be top-notch. Located on the north bank of north fork of Shoshone River, fishing right out door!! Great staff and great facility. See you next summer!!!

We stayed for four days in an RV site. This is a new park and they are still getting things established. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the sights, this is the place. There are no activities for kids such as a pool or playground, but they can ride bikes and play games. This campground gives a rustic, quiet, peaceful feel. The staff and other guests were very friendly. The location is perfectly set between Yellowstone's east entrance and Cody, WY.

3 stars is fair. Clean campground, sites are very tight, bring additional hose and septic drain pipes as the water and septic were a bit too far for my camper. If you have opposingslides it is close. Made it work by moving camper closer to the road. Not a huge deal, but make sure you have enough. Unfortunately nothing for the kiddos to do. I understand they are building things as they can and that takes time. You can't fish the river April -July. You should ask when you book where they are at with the upgrades to the park to be prepared. It is disappointing that you can't have fires here. Overall, I would come back in a couple years to see the progress as it progresses. As for the highway noise, it's not terrible, yeah it's close but you get used to it.

There was no bathroom, shower and laundry building. No dog park like they showed. We had mice from there RV park climb up our sewer hose into our camper. People were up at 6:15 one morning making lots of noise. I did give it a 2 for the beautiful view

We stayed 3 nights at old faithful the views were amazing!!!We stayed in an a cute cabin. Its close proximity to Yellowstone was great. All was new and smelled fresh. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The nights quiet, the bed comfortable leading to excellent rest. When I needed the internet it worked great. I will definitely be coming back.
