I had a hot tip from a former local that one of the best views of the Tetons was from the top of Grand Targee resort. Ride the lift to the top, do the short scenic loop - you will not be disappointed. This campground was perfect if you're time is limited, and you want to take in the aforementioned view, and also drive through GTNP. The downsides are... it's very close to the highway, so there is traffic noise from about 5am until about 9pm, and it is also up and over Teton Pass - which is quite steep in both directions. If I were going to do this trip again, I would opt for a boondocking site along Teton Canyon road between Driggs and the ski resort. If you do decide to camp here, I would highly recommend site #7, as we were at least visually isolated from the highway.

Beautiful!
Road out to it was rough asphalt and then you turn onto dirt road with washboards. Lake is beautiful!

Our stay was amazing. The creek runnin through was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful! Host was great, he made sure we were taken care of and gave advice on trails and nearby towns.

Great hosts. Clean facilities. Surprisingly quiet given that the Teton pass is adjacent to the campgrounds. Will plan another trip there!

This campground is amazing! The bathrooms are super clean and kept up with. The hosts are super friendly and check up on their guests often. Our wood got wet and we had trouble starting a fire and they were more than willing to lend us some of their supplies! We also had no trouble with wildlife during our stay. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful locale, beautiful stream. Site 3 is great but is far from level. Wasn't there a half a day when the camp host wife said we were warned twice by her husband for a unleashed dog, last warning, even though my Golden retriever was really hot and wanted to swim in cold creek at that moment, guilty, but I was never warned twice before. We were parked next to camp host for two nights, had to cut short our four day stay because the host had a guest staying with them that was really loud and used the F bomb constantly during their campfire chats. I am sure your stay will be better.

Our 30' TT fit nicely in site #7 with plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. This site is level, spacious, mostly shady, and right next to Trail Creek. Mature wild blueberries grow everywhere in the campground. The vault toilets are right across from #7, and a water spigot is a few yards away. Road noise from WY22 is obvious during the day, less so at night. The fire ring was installed entirely above ground, so it's super tall. It's hardly worth making a campfire that you can't see or feel.

Excellent campground. The bathrooms were spotless and the on site staff were very kind. They obviously take pride in their work. Highly recommend staying at this campground.
