Gros Ventre Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained location with friendly staff, clean restrooms, and easy access to the nearby river and wildlife, making it ideal for campers. Many visitors appreciate the campground's peaceful atmosphere, spacious sites, and convenient check-in process. While some sites may have rocky terrain and the lack of showers is noted, the overall experience is positive, with many recommending it as a great base for exploring the Grand Tetons.

The park was as close as we could find to Jackson, we spent a few nights there before we went to Grand Tetons. Staff was friendly and once we joined the lifetime National Park pass the savings were good! We did decide to leave early since we needed to head towards Yellowstone and we lost one night we had paid for, it was just too far for us to return and my husband has a hard time driving at night. The park itself is fine but they need to add some lighting nearby the sites, we came in late and it’s so dark you can’t tell where the sites are marked.

The people who checked us (and out) in were amazing, we loved our time at the park. The toilets are clean as is the park. It’s definitely a bonus being able to have a campfire and we were lucky enough to have both a deer and a moose wander straight past our campsite.

Checking in, we were met by a smiling Amy. She welcomed us and made sure we were ready and satisfied.
In out 12th summer of camping here, this crew is definitely the most prepared and friendliest of any crew we’ve experienced over the years.
Well done GTLC.

We enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to seeing all the sites around Grand Teton’s and Jackson WY. We stayed in Loop D with electric hookups. All the employees were very helpful and friendly.
