Brooklyn Lake Campground offers an outstanding experience with beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and exceptional camp hosts, Dennis and Merilee, who provide valuable information and support. The campground is peaceful, well-maintained, and conveniently located near trails and fishing spots, making it a favorite for many campers. While some noted limited privacy and cabin developments affecting lake access, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many eager to return.

We have been camping at Brooklyn Lake since the late 1970's and love it. Our campground hosts (Dennis and Merilee) were the best hosts we have ever experienced in 40+ years of camping in Wyoming. Unbelievable service and the vault toilets were the cleanest we have ever seen. Fantastic job! We also saw moose, deer and bald eagles almost every morning. The only negative was the development of cabins on the west and north side of the lake?! We restricted our fishing to the east and south sides of the lake since the privately-owned cabins had docks onto the lake. Seems odd that a National Forest doesn't have full access to a lake? But otherwise, we had a great time and will stay again next year.
