Beautiful national park that was a treat to drive through to take a break from the interstate. My grandfather and I didn't do much hiking, but I did take a chilly dip in one of the lakes. The visitor's center was very quaint and had coloring pages for kids and cute merch. Great views!

We now have a new Christmas tradition- cutting down our Christmas tree. We used Chimney Park trailhead and though it was a lot more snow than expected, the experience with family was priceless. Hopefully we can bring the little one up next year.

Beautiful forest with lakes and rivers. Lots of animals roaming, all sorts of different kinds. Be cautious driving at night. Speeding thru this area is dangerous. It will happen so fast you won’t be able to avoid it. Not even just here any rural highway area, with low traffic.
