Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities, It is outside the south gate of Yellowstone so you'll have to reenter the park every day if that is your destination. We liked it as we could go to either park depending on what we wanted to do that day.

Tent cabins served our needs and enjoyed the lodge and facilities for all guests. The staff was friendly. The staff managing the horseback rides were superb and really provided an enjoyable experience. Would stay again.

We rented a cabin here for the night on our way south into the Tetons, and were able to park our 24’ motorhome alongside. The cabin, as you expect, is super basic - 2 full size bunks and a desk, no electricity, but it was clean. It was super convenient to have Flagg Ranch so close, and we enjoyed the restaurant there for both dinner and breakfast. They also have a nice gift shop, and a Visitor Center next door, where we collected our Junior Ranger booklets. We also took advantage of the fire ring and sat around a campfire in the evening. We would stay here again if we were passing through.
