We were in Site 522 and it was long enough for our 42’ fifth wheel to fit with room to park the truck sideways in front of the RV. The site was level and 60’ long by about 40’ wide and quite private for the full campground. The water needs a regulator, the sewer hose will require support for proper connection to the sewer. The electric worked without issue. The roads are all gravel and dirt, so it can be dusty or muddy. We used a patio mat for entry and exit due to the pine trees, dirt, and rocks. We did not use the facilities, except for the convenience store for bread and Diesel fuel. The lodge has a restaurant we did not eat there, so no review.
Yellowstone South Gate is 5 miles north and Old Faithful is about an hour away, Grant Village is 30 minutes. Yellowstone is huge! Colter Bay is about 20 minutes south and Jackson Lake Lodge is less than 30 minutes. The views of the Tetons start 10 minutes south as Jackson Lake comes into view. Drive the Teton road past Jenny Lake when heading to Jackson Hole, the mountain range is visible the whole way and there are plenty of places to stop for pictures.
Look out for wildlife at large while driving. We had 2 Bison jams on Hwy 89 driving to and from Jackson, and 2 Bison Jams in Yellowstone along the Yellowstone River south of the Canyon.
Colter Bay and Jackson Lake Lodge have many activities. We used Headwaters as our place for sleeping and eating, since we were chasing grandkids around the parks.

The campground is very nice and clean and we felt very safe. The on-site store/gas/restaurant is very convenient. It is walking distance to a river where we caught a fish! The staff were all very kind and helpful. The location is great and is a perfect basecamp to enjoy both Grand Teton and Yellowstone parks. T-Mobile cell service was terrible throughout both parks (luckily my husband has AT&T), but the wifi at the campground was great. I highly recommend this campground!

Everything is overpriced, from the RV sites to the washers and dryers. This time of the year it was very dusty, people don’t know how to drive slow enough to keep the dust down.

Campgrounds were gravel parking areas, which was fine. The dust from traffic on campground roads was a problem as no matter how slowly traffic passed, it was still dusty. Otherwise, campground location was perfectly situated between grand tetons and yellowstone.

We had a very positive experience at Headwaters Flagg Ranch. Our RV site was very spacious, bath houses were very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful! We even encountered a bit of wildlife but were not intrusive, just on the edge of the property. Flagg Ranch was centrally located between Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, very convenient. If your interest is wildlife, be sure to go early when the temps are cool. Take time to visit the area lakes. They are beautiful!

Great location nestled between Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The abundance of pine trees made it so it didn't feel overly crowded with people even though there were tons of people there.

The campsites were spacious and shady under gorgeous ponderosa pines. The sewers are far too high on our first site and the cap was broken on the second site. Otherwise, a lovely campground close to both Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, with a bonus being able to walk to Flagg Ranch Lodge for dinner!
