Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch

We loved the campground. We had only two nights there before heading to Yellowstone. It was very quiet and had a relaxed feel. It was a little farther away from some of the attractions in The Tetons, but very close to Yellowstone which was a plus. Our only complaint was in the restaurant at the Lodge. We ordered two pricey entrees and both were lacking in quality. I would definitely recommend the campground!

Just spent 5 days at Headwaters. Perfectly located between the two parks with easy in and out access!

Cabins were clean, mattresses in good condition, facilities handy and readily available. Check in and dropping off keys quick and easy.

Restaurant & food was excellent. Our servers Joe & Evan were very attentive. & friendly.
RV park was very disappointing. It was dark when we got there. Very difficult to find our site as the aisles were not marked very well. I wound up backing into it. The most disappointing aspect was the fact the the RV park had no internet while the hotel & cabins did. Why is this?

My site was easily accessible and had full hookups. The sites are spacious. I ate several meals at the nearby restaurant and they were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. I would stay there again, definitely.

It’s a terrible campground. Huge potholes everywhere. It had been raining and they were filled with water. My neighbor couldn’t even get into his camper without walking through water. You’d think for a $125 a night you could afford a few loads of gravel, but no. And the spaces are very tight. Trimming and thinning would help, but apparently too lazy or cheap to do any of that. And the sewer hookups are about a foot in the air. You need to defy the laws of gravity to drain your sewer. John Rockefeller would be ashamed to have his name attached to this campground. Avoid this campground!

Wonderful campground. Quiet. Very clean restrooms with nice hot shower. Would stay again.

We had a teepee and a small tent which worked well for our pitch. We had amazing views through the trees and was just a short walk away from the river. The campsite was clean but trash did overflow the first night. The toilets and showers were ideal, and the convenience shop was handy although slighty expensive. We stayed 2 nights but would have been happy to stay longer.

Great location, restaurant is friendly and good food, easy check in. I would give it a 5 star if the campsites had a little more space in between sites.

There needs to be lighting for night arrivals. It was almost impossible to see the sight number from the vehicle. We had to get out and walk around with a flashlight. It was not only dark but very poorly marked. The people we checked in with drew a line on the map showing how we had to approach the site which made it even harder. They wanted us to back in when all we had to do was pull straight in. No lighting and hard to see signage and no delineation of the site was available. Also, there needs to be more gravel added to the whole park because it had rained and there were so many huge puddles! Bathroom was also not as well marked and I believe only one available in our area of many rvs and tents.

On the other hand the laundermat was not bad.
