We stayed at Headwaters in Site 504. This location is perfect!! It is close to all the great things in Grand Teton and Yellowstone!!! The campground was very nice. Bathrooms/showers were very close to our site, and they were well kept and clean, and it was a short walk to the trail that lead to the river. The lodge was rustic and very beautiful!!!! Having the picnic table and fire pit was a nice addition when you do a lot of cooking outside. The campground was dusty, but everyone respected the speed limits to cut down on the dust, so it wasn't too bad. Mosquitos love the area as well, so make sure to bring repellents. We will definitely make Headwaters our go to location when we decide to come back for a visit.

We absolutely loved our campground and it's location. Having a store, restaurant and bar just a short walk from our camper was so nice. The location to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone couldn't have been better and it was down right gorgeous. It felt like "real" camping, even though we had full hook ups.
We had a few campers come in that we noticed didn't have reservations and just moved from spot to spot which was a little frustrating considering how hard we worked to get ours 6 months in advance and what we paid, however the camp staff didn't seem to care (at least not enough to say anything to them). They did however make sure to loudly BANG on our door during a very inappropriate time, laugh about it until we could come to the door and then tell us that our cooking disk that had been scrubbed and was drying in the sun was a bear attractant.
Other than that it was an AMAZING space and we highly highly recommend it!

We thought 619 was the best in this wooded park. Has a nice big area in front of rv and is at back of park. Yes, it can be dusty since the roads are dirt. Will take you a good 30 minutes plus to get to either Teton or Yellowstone activities. Park employees were super nice. Laundry leaves a LOT to be desired. Bathrooms are nice. Has lots a cabins.

Loved our experience here. The campsites are pretty close together but with the possibility of bears, it made us feel more secure. The campsites store is close and has late hours. The entrance to Yellowstone is like a 10 minute drive. Activities with lake access is a 30 minute drive.

This is a great campground if you want to visit both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks without changing sites. We stayed in 712 during July and this cabin will receive late morning and afternoon sun so it will warm up considerably inside. During the night it will cool down to a comfortable temperature though. Other cabins nearby (711, 713) are fully shaded and would be a better choice in my opinion. There is an area for a tent but it is quite close to the 711 cabin. This cabin is also quite close to the perimeter drive and much dust is kicked up by drivers reaching their sites. Bear in mind there are no amenities at these cabins. They have 2 bunks with mattresses and a table with two chairs.

Beautiful, rustic, quiet campground. The location is convenient for trips into YNP and Gros Ventre. The Grand Tetons were a breathless sight! We spent time at Jenny, Leigh and String Lakes, cycled the paths and hiked a bit. Huckleberry ice cream at Coulter Bay was a treat.

Very nice campground. It is a good middle point for the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.
We were early in (early June) year so we didn't see large amounts of wild-life but enough to be satisfied.
