We had a wonderful visit and highly recommend it to anyone who s thinking of staying here. The only is that the campground, referred to as “the Headwaters” is not listed on the signage or literature as such, as are the other campgrounds in the park. Once you are aware of that and have navigated around the park, you figure that out but it’s initially confusing.

Friendly staff. Nice clean cabin. Good location and proximity to Yellowstone and Teton National Park. Resturant and gas station in walking distance.

This campground is in a great location for visiting both Yellowstone and Grand Tetons NPS from a single location. Be prepared to get early starts as it it a long drive to get to most anywhere. The campground is well treed and has a store, gas and full hookups. They need to regrade the sites as water pooled up when it rained. Had 2 bars of Verizon service most everywhere in the campground. We walked a 4 mile trail right from the site that was a beautiful trail half of which was along the Snake River.

There are very limited times to use the showers, plan carefully.

We stayed at the cabins and had breakfast at the lodge. Cabins were clean and close to the bathrooms (which were also very clean). Breakfast was good and coffee was hot.

Amazing camping experience. Had service if needed. A lodge with food, groceries, fire wood. All the goods! It got quiet at night. All and all good experiences

I absolutely loved this. Me and my whole family did. Clean and safe! We were warm, had plenty of room and our animals were well accommodated (due to our planning, but the cabin didn't inhibit anything for them). The campground was clean, the staff was beyond friendly and everything was honestly wonderful. We can't wait to go back. 20/10 in our books!

We had a great time at Headwaters! They offer free showers with hot water. The cabins were more than sufficient for our stay. And it’s only 5 minutes away from the entrance of Yellowstone. We will be coming back!

You would think for $85 they could afford to fix the roads. We had huge puddles from the rain the night before. The poor guy a few sites down was completely surrounded by water and had to use boots to hook up. They gave him a piece of plywood so they could get into their camper. Sad. We’ll avoid this campground next time.
