Location is the benefit. 2.5m from Yellowstone and in north Teton. Would rate higher but the grounds and sites are a dust-fest.

Nice camp amenities (store and restaurant, good cell service, showers, laundry). Snake River accessible and large bear box for each site. If you are looking to be visiting both Tetons and Yellowstone likely a very good base and while technically outside of both parks no entry gate as you go inbetween. Slight drive to some of the main areas in the parks but manageable. Just under an hour. To Jenny Lake area which was where we spent most our time. If wanting to visit north end of Yellowstone drive time probably getting long (especially if you account for a bison jam)

We stayed here for one night in the cabins. The cabins were very clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

I was surprised to see so many empty sites considering I wanted to stay 2 nights and when I booked it only showed 1 night availability. These sites often leave you in the dust. Showers have low water pressure.

We really enjoyed our time at Flagg Ranch RV and Campgrounds. The pool through sites were very easy to manage. Even though the sites were a little close together, they were staggered so it didn’t seem like you were too close to your neighbor. The showers were good, didn’t drain as well as they should, but the water pressure was good and the showerhead was great. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant one morning. We used the campground for our homebase as we explored Yellowstone and Snake River for a few days. We will definitely be back.

Convenient to both parks. Decent hook ups.
Trash full everyday. I recommend larger bins.
People speeding through the park wasn’t safe and kicked up dust everywhere.

From Yellowstone:
Follow the signage to the South gate of Yellowstone - about 40 miles from Old Faithful.
After exiting the south gate, Headwaters at Flagg Ranch will be just 2 miles South on the right side of the road.
From Jackson, WY:
Head North from Jackson on US 191/89.
Turn left to continue on US 191/89 at the Moran Junction and enter the Grand Teton National Park through the Moran entrance.
Continue straight through the Jackson Lake junction for another 21 miles.
Headwaters at Flagg Ranch will be located on the left side of the road.
As you pull into the property, the lodge will be located on your right and the campground will be on the left.
Please note Grassy Lake Road is a dirt and gravel road that leads to Ashton, Idaho. Four-wheel drive is strongly encouraged on this narrow single-lane road. It is not recommended for trailer traffic or large vehicles.
Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch is accessible via US 191/89, which connects to the Moran Junction. The campground is located approximately 2 miles south of the south gate of Yellowstone National Park.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
