What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

My camping experience in that site was absolutely dream textbook. Great campground with efficient systems that respect our thoughts processes. I really liked the Signal Mtn campground & will plan ahead of time in the future to get a longer stay.

Excellent in every way. I like the check in procedure - very effective and much more expeditious. Sites were so clean & cozy - great accomodations. Yippee on the shower/laundry facilities.
All very very good. Have really talked it up.

First of all, it was very difficult to get a camp spot with the online system, yet when I was at Signal Mountain CG, there were a number of spots that were reserved that no one was at during the whole week I was there. That was also the case last year when I was there. There needs to be a better way to manage reservations, cancellations and no shows.
Also, having to pay for showers should not be required, as is the case in Yellowstone. To not include showers as part of the reservations is ludicrous considering the, already, high cost of the campsite.
The campsite itself was neat and clean, though the tent pad was too small for my tent by about a foot in length. Slightly larger tent sites would very much be appreciated.
Of course, the scenery was spectacular, as always.

Easily the best campground in the park, you simply can’t beat the views of the Tetons over Jackson lake, and very close to the best hikes. The restaurant is incredible, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the showers are pricey but can you really complain about the price of a shower in a National Park? 10/10 experience, will definitely visit here again.

Great campgroung near the lake. Our site was "illegally" occupied when we arrived and the campground responsible gave us another site, better located and full hook-up! It was a great experience with sunrise above the lake and early morning bathing :-)
