What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

Easy checkin, great sight with view of the water, convenient laundry, excellent restaurant.

Probably one of the cleanest campgrounds I’ve been to in a long time. The staff were always on top of the trash/recycle bins and the bathrooms were checked & cleaned more than once each day. With Jackson Lake so close we watched the sunset most nights. The only improvement I would suggest is improving the ventilation in the showers and replacing the shower heads; they are absolutely terrible.
Site specific (Site 56): very large site with plenty of room. Unfortunately it’s also very close to the bathroom and the site next to it had several different users over the 5 nights we were there and several of them walked right through our site to get to the bathroom. Some gentle correction solved it with each of them but keep that in mind if you choose the site. Only other issue is the bathroom lights are on all night so if you like it extra dark at night, pick a different site.

Large site with close proximity to the lake and restrooms. Easy walk to general store and restaurant. Site is elevated above many others so driveway/parking is somewhat steep comparatively. Bring some leveling blocks if planning for RV. Tent area is level.

I would love to see some FCFS sites back at the campground.

Probably the most staffed and well run campground. Site was nice, mostly level. Bathrooms were in good working order but showing age. Good access to lake trail. Showers were too expensive but other options are limited.

Friendly staff, clean bathroom and shower facilities (token operated). Sites are packed pretty tight, but that’s to be expected in most NPS campgrounds. Free WIFI is available at the restaurant/lounge lodge next door, which was very helpful as we have T-Mobile and were without service.
