What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

Although we didn’t use many of the services, this campsite was incredible! Just steps away from the lake with the mountains in the background. I can’t wait to come back! Most sites were pretty private and the bathrooms were clean!

The Signal Mountain Campground is in a convenient location, not too far from the Visitors Center or Jackson Hole. The lake is Scenic and opportunities for renting a motor boat or kyaak are available. The restaurant on site has a variety of adequate choices on the menu and seating with views of the lake. The service was good. I was able to get a camping site without a reservation by using the Recreation.gov website upon arriving to the Grand Teton National Park. Many of the campsites were roomy and provided some privacy, However, my camp site 76 was within a few feet of the neighboring site, a local group of young parents who were there to whip-it-up. We left the area after setting up camp, and drove a short distance to the Colter Bay Restaurant which was superior to the restuarant at Signal Lake. Upon return to our site we enjoyed a comfortable temperatures and a campfire. I would camp at Signal Lake again, but would try to reserve a more private and roomy site.

Beautiful Campground set in trees by the lake. Will definitely return in the future. The sites are not level and can be tight navigating the roads, but the setting is much better than a parking lot type campgrounds. Bear box and table in site, water and bathhouse nearby. Paid showers laundry were very clean and easy to use. Camp store was well stocked and had prepared food as well as a small grocery items available.

Tight spot and steep road makes it very difficult to park a camper. Also, shower isn’t included with the reservation.
