What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

Signal Mountain campground is at the heart of Grand Teton! Incredible views!
Exceptional location along the lake, with the marina and water access near to really all the campsites! It was a fairly easy trek from our campsite to the shore with our inflatable SUP & kayak. Bathrooms were convenient, well-maintained & stocked, and there were plenty of hot showers. The shower rooms are secure, but a bit dark without windows.
Our campsite was beautiful and quiet! It was a little snug for our 17’ teardrop trailer, and took a little maneuvering, which caused us to need to block the one-way road both for unhooking and hooking up, but everyone pretty much knew that is part of the deal, and so were patient!
We were even treated to a visit from the campground’s resident bull elk, Hollywood! What a magnificent animal!
Loved this campground, and our Teton experience!

Loved this campground. Did not stay anywhere else in the park so hard to compare, but it was beautiful. There was a generator free loop as well as a couple with electric hookups and generator ability. Each site had its own beatbox and was in good distance to the rest rooms. Some of the sites are a short walk from the lake which provides a beautiful view. There was ample space in our site and many others looked good too! Busy area but was still quiet and comfortable. The showers and laundromat were a huge plus as well as the gas stations hours were great(you could buy firewood, ice, and food there!$

I had friends staying at The Lodge so it was very convenient. Only frustrating part was tokens for showers & laundry - where I come from showers are included in your campsite price. Machines would not make change - why couldn't we just use cash in quarters?

This site is right by the bear proof trash cans so there is some noise as humans struggle to open it, lol. Fairly level and close to the entrance if you want to walk to the lodge, gas station, restaurant, etc. Electric functioned well. Not the most scenic spot if that matters to you. Signal mountain is really close to Jenny lake and String lake. NO cell signal for TMobile users except at the lodge.

Very good experience at this campground! Nicely maintained. Friendly staff. We had site 48 Loop 2 which had a beautiful view of the lake & mountains just a few steps away!
