The check-in was smooth and convenient. The staff enthusiastically explained the surrounding environment and facilities. The 1-21 location can be very close to the bathroom and have a safe distance from the neighbors!

The campground itself is nice. It's smaller which I can appreciate. Ive seen the staff running around all day working.
The campground is really right on the lake which is nice. Easy walk to the shore through the dayuse parking spots. There is a store and a gas station. And an ultra snobby "restaurant" that can't even make a BLT because theres no tomatoes or lettuce. Sigh...
The showers by the laundry were very roomy. Plenty of space to put your stuff. And your own sink and mirror. The one I used was very clean. BUT the shower head is a nightmare. It sprays the water so weirdly that you dont know which stream coming out to use.
The bathrooms and spigots are nicely spread out through the campground so you dont have to walk a million miles to either. The bathrooms are adequately cleaned.
Theres no sun in the campsites. So if you rely on solar it won't work here
Unfortunately, and the biggest reason I didnt give 5 stars is they let people run jerkorators ALL DAY LONG! And they do run their rediculous junkerators full bore all day. In the TETONS! In the beautiful forest. Unbelievable! They need to catch up to the other national parks like Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, and a few others who severely limit the use of these nature/peace ruining monstrosities. Until then it kills any other good things here.

Great stay during busy season. Site 2/62. Good shade cover and great for car camping. Pretty level. No tent pad. Not the most convenient spot for the bathrooms. Showers are up front and not the worst but not the greatest. Overall - good stay.

It was a great campground. We loved the Lake Solitude hike, although it was a bit longer. I would highly recommend the campground and the National Park.

Beautiful, quiet and well maintained campground. I was surprised to see so much wildlife in the campground! Didn't even have to leave the site to see all the animals. Woke up to Elk walking down the road, foxes, deer and fawns prancing through my site. Campsite felt secluded enough.

I was very frustrated to finally lean that when I clicked on a Site that was reserved for handicapped, every other Site indicated it was a handicap site. They were NOT handicap sites. I later learned that I had to "refresh" the page every time I would try another Site. Next time I will just take the handicapped site as others would simply do.

We enjoyed staying at Signal Mountain Campground. Nice location along the lake and easy access to other parts of the park. Only downside was the cost of the showers.
