What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

Very pretty views, we were in site 16 which is between site 17 and 15, if you can get 15 you'll get a really nice view of the lake and the mountains, our site was unable to see these views as well as site 15 but was still a beautiful site. Bring bug spray as due to the location being next to the lake it will be really buggy. Also early June the temps still got down to 30 degrees at night so bring a warm set of clothes to prepare for the cold nights! Really nice bathrooms and a nice camp store not too far from camp (within a reasonable walking distance)

It was so great to end our visit at this campground where we had showers, laundry and WiFi. The sites are a little tight but we weren’t spending much time there anyhow. We hiked up the mountain in the morning, nice views and wildlife.

Great location! A little confusing to book. I booked one night, then saw the next night was available, but I couldn’t extend for two nights. I had to book the second night separately. No big deal! The rangers were very nice, and the site worked out well.

Excellent campground, sites are well maintained, as are the bathrooms. Laundromat and showers were a welcome amenity as our previous stop did not have them. Short walk to a beautiful view of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again!

I love the general atmosphere of the Signal Mtn campground. But, the site we stayed at had a significant slope - took all our jacks and pads to make it comfortable. Then, the restrooms were disgusting. Stinky, toilets leaked on the floor, the urinals are those dry kind but they don't put the blue oily stuff in them and they reek. The walls and floors looked gross. I realize these are nearly 60 years old but they need refurbishing and better upkeep. Same for Lizard Creek. On the other hand, the restrooms at Gros Ventre were very nice and had a clean feel to them. PLEASE UPGRADE THE RESTROOMS!!
