The campground was about what we expected.
Barking dogs and people running noisy generators annoyed us.

Need some road work, please, and some tree trimming in the camp ground, but Half Moon Lake is our family favorite place to be. We will visit there at least twice a year, love it!!

Campsites and location can't be beat. Only problem is the other campers. Running generators all night, loud and aggressive drunk conversations, starting up F-350 diesel trucks all night long for some reason. All against campsite rules and general decency.

We were not able to find the location. Signage was poor. The roads were very difficult to pass with a truck in the trailer.
We had to make other arrangements for that evening

Beautiful campsite by the lake. Close together but sufficient vegetation to shield you and make it feel more private. Mosquitos were a big issue in the evening in the first week of July. Be prepared with netting as DEET won't be enough. Bear boxes were smaller than the one we later had at Gros Ventre. Also only pit toilets with toilet paper. Town of Pinedale is conveniently close and you can walk to the lodge down the way to rent a boat, go horsebackriding, or have a meal

In the trees! We liked being in shade and by the lovely lake.

This campground is perfect for tents and vans but too small for large campers. It was wonderful not hearing generators all night. The hike to LIttle Half Moon was fun. Lake was wonderful to swim in. Campers were respectful and quiet making this place a gem to camp. Folks with large trailers can camp at Fremont Lake with the amenities they enjoy and desire, but not here!

Great little campground, no wifi which is just fine with us! And no hookups, pit toilets, also just fine. The frustrating thing is that people will reserve the best spots for 2 weeks and then only show up on the weekends...seems obvious it is locals that do this, using it as their 'summer camp'.
We took a hike to what we thought was to Little Half Moon, but the trail is poorly marked after about a mile and a half. Nice hike, up and down, didn't make it all the way to the lake though.
