On our recent drive across the country, we looked for cabins (instead of setting up a tent every night), and while this location is remote, the cabin had some creature comforts that we really appreciated -- a shower, a kitchen, a fridge, electricity. While the cabin might need a few updates (curtains desperately need to be replaced, for example), we loved the remote site, and appreciated the friendly and helpful camp hosts. If we're driving this way again, we'll definitely try to rent this cabin one more time! Be prepared for a cell-phone dead zone, FYI. Who knows? You might actually appreciate being off the grid!
