This camp is a little ways from Medicine Bow proper, but it is quiet, clean, dark and wonderful. The camp host has done an excellent job keeping things nice and tidy and was available to answer questions about where to get supplies and such.
If you're looking for a dark sky for astrophotography, this is an excellent option.

Great location close to Medicine Bow and the lakes nearby. No breathtaking views at the campground, but it's quiet, cozy, and easy to get in and out of. Silver lake is a steep walk down - the campsites are not near the water. Lot of beetlkill around, but that's everywhere.

Sites have deteriorated, with almost all in need of attention.

Campground is a loop within an open pasture. Sites are spread out. Windy. High! (I started panting walking the dog!) Unfortunately we got quite a bit of rain. Our Class C was fine, but this campground would not be appropriate for anything over 30' (bumper to bumper).

Small camp that is a great dark sky place. Not many trees around the sites and its rocky. The lake was a short distance away and picturesque. No
Bathrooms decent
Never saw the host. Our site reservation was not up but on the flip side of the sign. Someone could have easily taken the spot as it was listed as open.

Very quiet campground. Almost above treeline. Rocky sites, only a few that are level. Good experience. Will come here again.
