Mike was super helpful and kind. The campground and bathrooms were so clean. The location to hiking, climbing, and the lake were unbeatable. Even on a hot summer day we found ourselves in a puffy in the morning Which meant we could sleep well at night too. There are also moose at the lake which is super fun. Def recommend.

Upon arriving at Lakeview C.G. I discovered another camper had moved into my reserved spot. After discussing the situation with the camper, who was willing to relocate I contacted Mike, the camp host. Mike was very apologetic about the mishap and offered up an alternative and available spot. As it turned out the alternative was better then the spot I had originally reserved Throughout my stay Mike was very accommodating and helpful. The view of the lake and the weather were amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

The location is great, walking distance to the water, well taken care ten platforms and trails leading to them. Sturdy picnic tables and nice fire rings as well as dedicated tables for camp stoves/cooking. There is also a fresh water spigot and vault toilet near by. The downside is the parking and having to share the parking spots with all tent site users, as some people don't seem to know how to park close enough and they end up taking up way more space than needed.

Beautiful spot that overlooks the lake, flat parking area for our Subaru and roof top tent. Clean outhouses and a beautiful meadow that leads down to a clean and cold lake. Great paddle boarding and short hikes by the lake. The road noise was enough to mention. From the campsite you can look into the underside of passing cars. There was not a lot of traffic at night so the noise didn't ruin our sleep.
