We loved our stay but when we got to out reserved campsite, it was occupied by 2 RVs.

About Lakeview Bighorn
Lakeview Campground is located on Meadowlark Lake about 50 mi east of Worland, Wyoming on the west side of scenic Cloud Peak Skyway, near the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area. The Bighorn National Forest offers a wide variety of activities, including hiking, fishing, scenic driving and a number of historic sites. I won't book online again. There is an $8.00 reservation fee to book online and we were the only ones there. I will pick my site when I arrive, to ensure I get the tent site I really want. Once you reserve a site, it is frowned upon to ask to change. The camp host was friendly. Nice campground with clean bathrooms and a view of the lake. We had a moose come for a visit !

Our tent site was lovely, with a flat tent pad and easy access to the lake. Everything was clean and well kept. We took a number of hikes in the area and can particularly recommend Sherd Lake and Mirror Lake trails. The 360-degree view from the top of Sheep Mountain as storms rolled by (at a distance!) was spectacular.
