Good spot to stay at elevation before our 4 night backpacking trip. It is worth noting the tent pads are made with sharp gravel. I was pretty worried about getting a hole in my tent or air mattress. My friend pitched his tent on the grass. I think compacted dirt would be an improvement.

Excellent campground. Close to great hikes to West Tensleep Falls or East Tensleep Lake. The overlook from the ridge above the lake is amazing too. Nice spot to paddle board.

The spot 11 did not have enough shade mid day, my only complaint! Otherwise beautiful with moose often visiting and beautiful views. The location manager was extremely friendly and helpful.
