Great campground with a nice view on the lake and a spacious camping space. Very clean toilet and campground in general. Make sure your water tank is full and your waste is empty (if you are travelling with a RV) - the next service station is quite far out (or what we could locate).

Stopped for 2 nights on the way to Yellowstone. Site #11 is great for solar and Starlink. Pit toilet was clean. Fresh drinking water available, but no hookup to fill RV fresh tank.

We enjoy this campground immensely every year, and hike up to the nearby Firewatch Tower. The facilities are always clean, and well maintained. You can't bring in your own firewood and have to buy what's provided there. Be sure to bring cash for that. They keep raising prices for the firewood, and making the bundles smaller the last few years.

While I love the tent sites at this campground, the car spots in the first loop are very close to the freeway. It's certainly not a spot for quiet, but the sites are roomy, shady, and have a good view of the lake, so while I don't recommend tent camping, they would probably be fine for a RV.

Campground host does an excellent job of greeting people and maintaining the common areas.
